UPplus® production boards with dovetail joint connections

UPplus® optimises the production process for concrete blocks

UPplus® production boards with dovetail joint connections are used wherever perfect concrete goods have to be reliably produced.

The reason for this is the quality processing of the top product specially developped for the extreme requirements of the concrete block industry.  For example, the individual boards are technically dried and given a dovetail profile.

The tight-fitting, permanent connection and gluing of the boards ensures an even, uniform surface.  This ensures the quality of the concrete goods, extends the useful life of the production board and reduces cost.  The C-Profile edge protection prevents mechanical damage to the edges of the boards.  The particular quality of UPplus® production boards with dovetail joint connection especially ensures a long service life.  High durability over years of toughest use guarantees a smooth production process and increases efficiency.  Dimensional stability and high bending strength

under the enormous static and dynamic loadings ensure the best vibration transfer and consistent vibration behaviour.

Advantages

  • Killn dried, adjusted to customer-specific production conditions
  • Selected boards with 2 or 3 dovetails
  • Tight fitting and glued connection
  • Dead knots are plugged and glued, small defects are patched
  • Fine sanded surfaces
  • Treated with special oil all sides
  • Even panel surfaces
  • Sendzimir galvanised C-Profile edge protection
  • C-Profile fastened and pressed with 6 mm countersunk solid iron rivets
  • Ideal ratio of specific weight to bending strength and stability
  • Extremely high durability

Instructions for the application of new production boards

  • Check the working pressure of the mould
  • Check release agent application
  • Check proper cleaning of brushes (condition of the brushes, replace if necessary)
  • Observe our storage instructions before use/application of panels and also on a production stop (see annex)
  • Check runners on vibration table
  • Check for damage by the machine in the transport process

Storage and treatment

Production boards should be put into production immediately following delivery.

If buffer storage is necessary, the production boards should under all circumstances be stored in closed packages under cover and away from light.  At higher temperatures, the upper and lower surfaces in each stack must be sprayed with water in order to balance or minimise loss of humidity.  Otherwise there is the risk of warping and cracking.  The same applies to lengthy production stops.

Production:

Make sure without fail that humidity losses occurring in the wood are compensated.  This is usually done by spraying the surface with water.  An admixture of concentrated formwork oil to the water spray is recommended.  The water or water-oil mixture can be applied by other technical means, such as a roller.

We shall be pleased to assist you with further treatment proposals should the specific humidity of your concrete product or the air humidity during curing of your products be relatively high.
