The Rettenmeier product range for the packaging industry

Firms in the packaging industry have relied on Rettenmeier’s modern, environmentally friendly wood products for years.

This includes planks, boards and square timber in various dimensions and lengths for producing wooden pallets, cases and cable drums.

Our sorting facilities enable us to offer sawn wood economically for less valuable packaging, e.g. disposable or stone pallets and high quality products, e.g. for Euro, CP pallets, export cases and cable drums.  We can meet the requirements for packaging goods under the recently tightened export provisions by observing the IPSM 15 directives

Our products undergo not just one heat treatment but are dried over a lengthy period to a final humidity of approx. 20% mc, whereby the weight of the packaging material e.g. for air freight is substantially reduced and optically enhanced.  

For packaging wood, which is treated under ISPM NR. 15 (IPPC Standard), the registration numbers of the supplying operations are entered on the delivery papers.  We will additionally provide a drying record and an affidavit on request.

Dried goods are delivered in foil and are therefore protected from soiling, humidity and dampness.

The parcels can be stored outdoors and consequently take up no space in roofed areas.
