PEFC® Certification

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) is an international forestry certification system.  It is the largest independent organisation worldwide to secure and continuously improve sustainable forestry management while observing ecological, social and economic standards.  
Through an independent testing station (accredited certification centres), PEFC offers customers and market partners the guarantee that the woods will be managed to high standards.  In addition, to date 191 million hectares of forest have been certified worldwide under PEFC. In Germany, with 7.2 million hectares, two-thirds of German wooded area is certified under the  PEFC System, so that the supply of raw material with certified timber is assured.

According to the body of certification SGS-ICS “Association of Certification mbh” and environmental experts the company “REttenmeier Tatra Timber s.r.o” is managing the ingoing and outgoing volumes in conformity with PEFC guidelines.
According to an independent audit, it has been proven that the CoC system complies with the standards of the following guideline:
PEFC – Certification Annex 4 of the technical document „Chain of Custody of timber products – standards”.

PEFC Zertifizierung der Rettenmeier Baltic Timber SIA, Lettland

According to the body of certification BM Trada Certification LTD experts the company “Rettenmeier Baltic Timber SIA" is managing the ingoing and outgoing volumes in conformity with PEFC guidelines PEFC ST 2002:2010.
