Product certainty
The production of all components is subject to top quality standards and conforms to state-of–the-art technology. For load-bearing components, all technical requirements of the works’ own production checks are ensured through internal and external inspection. Products are produced and marked in accordance with national or international standards.
Health
Rettenmeier pursues the goal of our products to meet all aspects of health requirements. We therefore offer a broad range of natural and especially dried wood products. This is particularly important when the health aspects of indoor air are taken into account.
90 % of our time is spent indoors. The residential room climate is therefore of great importance to our health. When opting for wood, you decide for a healthy residential climate, since wood as a natural construction and building material has a positive influence on our ambient climate. Heat insulating, humidity balancing, actively breathing – all properties which create a comfortable climate for living.

Environment and ecology
The basis of most of our products is the naturally grown raw material wood. Sustainable forestry has hundreds of years of tradition in Germany. Wood grows everywhere and so creates the basis for low transport distances and consequently low energy consumption in procuring raw materials. In addition, wood is relatively easy to process and with little use of energy. Wood is a renewable raw material, which is available in large quantities. The use of wood as a building and working material and as an energy carrier after the material has been used spares the climate, since wood is CO2-neutral.

Rettenmeier is a medium-sized family business in the timber industry and produces from its locations in predominantly forestry and agriculturally focused areas. Through its corporate achievements Rettenmeier ensures a large number of jobs in sometimes weak structural areas and therefore contributes consistently to its employees’ wellbeing and to regional development.
