Wood as a raw material is the cornerstone of our company's success. This valuable natural product grows up in exclusively sustainably managed forests. Through an efficient and resource-conserving production process, we refine this into a wide range of applications. Consistently high quality and reliability are our motivation and what our customers can expect from us.

At our six European sites (Wilburgstetten, Burgbernheim, Hirschberg, Ramstein, Liptovský Hrádok and Inčukalns) we process more than 3 million cubic metres of coniferous wood annually, in spruce, pine, Douglas fir and larch.

SUSTAINABILITY

Depending on the location, our wood comes almost exclusively from regional forests that are cultivated according to the PEFC standard. This ensures short transport distances, local added value and the preservation of jobs in rural areas.

LOGISTICS

The timber is dispatched via specialised timber transport companies. Many years of trusting cooperation with these family businesses ensures reliable timber supply and ensures a high level of satisfaction on the part of forest owners and suppliers.

GREEN TRANSPORT

Wilburgstetten, Ramstein and Rettenmeier Tatra Timber plants in Liptovský Hrádok have a fully integrated internal rail connection. This enables climate-friendly timber transport even over longer distances.
