Our site has a short and long timber yard, a high-performance sawing line, a sorting plant, drying facilities and a combined heat and power plant. In addition, we have three planing lines at our disposal, which ensure that the wood is processed to the highest standard. With a cutting capacity of approx. 250,000 solid cubic meters of Douglas fir per year, we are ideally equipped to meet the high demands of our customers. We also operate a pellet plant with a capacity of 120,000 tons per year, which produces sustainable energy products.

The focus of our production in Ramstein-Miesenbach is on our rettenmeier® OUTDOOR WOOD products. These are ideal for gardening and landscaping as well as for use in construction and DIY projects. Our high-quality Douglas fir timbers are characterized by their durability, resistance and aesthetics and are therefore ideal for outdoor use.

The Palatinate Forest is not only the largest contiguous forest area in Germany, but is also known for the largest Douglas fir stands in the country. This geographical and ecological feature makes our plant in Ramstein-Miesenbach the ideal location for the production of our garden timber segment. The proximity to these first-class raw material sources enables us to guarantee consistently high quality and sustainable production processes.
