Our plant in Wilburgstetten/Bavaria is only a few kilometres from the border to Baden-Württemberg. As such it is at the border of those federal states in which the stocks of coniferous wood account for almost 50% of stocks in the entire Federal Republic. 

Wilburgstetten is the headquarters of the rettenmeier® Group. All central functions as well as corporate management are based here. In addition to our largest sales division "DIY sales“, a large part of the output logistics is also managed centrally from here via our rettenmeier SERVICE GMBH®.

In addition to long and short timber yards and two saw lines, the Wilburgstetten plant also has a total of six planing lines and multi-blade saws, drying systems, a dry sorting plant and two CHP plants, in which electricity and heat are generated. At the heart of the plant, a new high-performance saw line with three sorting lines will go into operation in 2021 and achieve a processing capacity of 1.3 million cbm.
