The continued existence of our local forests is very important to us, as the forest is not only our main source of raw materials, but of course also a protected and recreational area for plants and living creatures. This makes sustainable forest management and maintaining the health and vitality of the forest ecosystem all the more important.

Forest-rich locations enable us to source our raw materials as far as possible from the immediate vicinity of our plants. For longer distances, we use rail transport. This saves costs, resources and, above all, protects the environment.

SUSTAINABILITY

Depending on the location, our wood comes almost exclusively from regional forests that are cultivated according to the PEFC standard. This ensures short transport distances, local added value and the preservation of jobs in rural areas.

LOGISTICS

The timber is dispatched via specialised timber transport companies. Many years of trusting cooperation with these family businesses ensures reliable timber supply and ensures a high level of satisfaction on the part of forest owners and suppliers.

SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT

With our own rail connections at individual locations, rail is also a climate-friendly means of transport for us in order to get as much freight as possible off the road.
