Our site in Hirschberg has a short and long timber yard as well as a state-of-the-art sawing line with an annual cutting capacity of 800,000 solid cubic meters (FM). We produce 140,000 cubic meters of solid structural timber (KVH) and 70,000 cubic meters of glulam (BSH) annually. These volumes underline our leading market position and our ability to fulfill even large orders on time and to the highest quality. By combining state-of-the-art technology, sustainable energy sources and outstanding raw materials, we ensure the top quality of our ZUNFTHOLZ® brand.

Our raw material catchment area extends across the Thuringian Forest, the Saxon Vogtland, the Bavarian Franconian Forest and the Fichtelgebirge. The high timber qualities of these low mountain ranges offer unique conditions for the production of our first-class construction timber. The outstanding quantity and quality of the raw material from these regions guarantees the superior properties of our products.

We focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. Two combined heat and power plants at the site generate both heat and electricity, thus contributing to environmentally friendly and resource-saving production.
