Our Baltic Timber plant is located in the middle of Latvia's extensive forests - an up-and-coming key location for high-quality sawn timber products in Nordic quality. Thanks to pioneering investments, this is one of the most modern and largest sawmills in the entire Baltic region.

Our site in Inčukalns has been extensively expanded and modernized in recent years. The result:

• a completely new sawmill with a planned cutting capacity of over 1.0 million solid cubic meters (SCM) per year
• an efficient high-performance sorting system
• a new planing mill for further processed products
• a pellet plant that recycles the residual materials in a resource-saving manner

These investments not only secure our production capacities, but also a high level of energy efficiency and sustainability at a top European level.

Our sophisticated lumber drying systems guarantee precise and consistently high product quality. We also rely on an integrated energy concept: A biomass cogeneration plant uses the waste heat from the drying process to heat our new buildings - via a low-temperature underfloor heating system.

Around 40% of Latvia is forested and it is one of the most densely forested countries in Europe. Our plant benefits from the immediate proximity to huge deposits of spruce and pine - with outstanding timber quality:

• high bulk density
• fine growth rings
• small branch sizes

These properties are the perfect prerequisites for structural and surface-finished applications - in quality that you can see and feel.
