The fineness of the growth rings and small branch sizes of the Baltic round timber provide an excellent basis for high-quality constructive and surface-finished timber products.

Rettenmeier Baltic focuses on the manufacture of high-quality sawn timber of Nordic qualities, which can be processed directly on site or in one of our German locations into the respective target range for the specialist retailer or our DIY division. This is where we produce sawn timber products for the markets in North Africa and the UK. In addition to a log yard, two saw lines, a dry sorting plant commissioned in 2020 and three CHP plants, we produce 50,000 cbm of single-layer solid wood boards and 10,000 tonnes of pellets in the Baltic States.
